Since 2013, the Fordham Composers program is a composition class offered every two years at Fordham University. Each student enrolled in the class is asked to compose a piece featuring a trio within this instrumentation: flute, oboe, clarinet, cello and piano.
The class is given on a weekly basis by
Dr. Daniel Ott
at Fordham University, Lincoln Center campus. The Exponential Ensemble visits the class periodically during the semester providing feedback to the students at different stages of their compositional process, culminating with a public performance of all their works.
Our next edition of the Fordham Composers Program will occur in 2022.
